Helping Hedgehogs

Britain's native hedgehog population has declined by half in the last two decades with rural areas being the worst affected as hedgerows and field margins are being lost to intensive farming.

How can YOU help? By providing a suitable hedgehog food and fresh water, particularly in late summer and autumn while hedgehogs are building up the fat reserves needed to survive the winter. It is also worth providing food and water during periods of dry, hot weather.
